Six Ways You Can Become Involved in Santa Fe New Music
Attend a concert. This is what it’s all about. Click here for season details, and sign up for the e-newsletter to be among the first to receive any late-breaking news!
Help Out as an Administrative Volunteer. These ongoing volunteer opportunities can range from stuffing envelopes to database work, to copywriting, filing, and research. Tell us your skills and interests, and we can find something for you. Scheduling is very flexible; all we need is reliability. Some of these tasks can be executed off-site, and some at our office. These volunteer roles are year-round opportunities.
Become a Production Volunteer. An especially interesting option for those who want to be involved “behind the scenes.” Roles can include anything from setting up equipment, to handling lighting, or even making sure the performers have what they need. These volunteers usually are called on a day or so before the concert, and the day/evening of the concert.
Assist us with Front-of-House Concert Volunteering. Call for front-of-house volunteers ranges from 60-90 minutes before the concert. Responsibilities include: ticket sales (we can train you on using the credit card swiper), merchandise sales, sing-in book monitoring, and ushering. These volunteer slots fill up the most quickly, so contact us soon if you are interested!
Become a Donor. The gift of philanthropy is always appreciated, and no gift is too small or too large. Visit this page for information.
Join the SFNM CoMission Club. This is a special opportunity for individuals and groups to invest in the commissioning of a new piece of work by a major American composer. The benefits of CoMission Club Membership are great, and membership begins at the modest level of $100.
SFNM Volunteers receive complimentary tickets to concerts and events, as well as the satisfaction of knowing they are making a significant contribution to the music of our time and to the community. Thank you!!
